don't you think the water symbolises erudite, because in initiation day, water was for erudite wasn't it?

I Like the symbol but it should represent something or change it to selfless or erudite because than people (me) don't get so confused and search just to found nothing it REPRESENTS NOTHING ! Vericona Roth (sorry if I got her name wrong) said so and I know water stood for erudite in the choosing factions things but like she said it means nothing NOT DIVERGENT ANYTHING ! I'm just using the capitals to make it clear .
In the nw copy of Insurgent, it has a bonus scene you can get if you buy it at wallmart and Tris asks Tori to give her a tatto and i think it was that symbol. Tris wants it because she said, "in annother simulation attack, it will be easier to tell who's Divergent."
that would be cool. i havnt read allegiant yet but it think the factionless is more of insurgent
You should probably leave until you read Allegiant, because there's a major spoiler at the end that appears around here everywhere!
Also the Factionless symbol is just a circile withnothing in the middle
It symbolizes the end. In divergent there is a fire showing that tris’s journey started. Then in insurgent the tree shows the fire getting stronger meaning that tris’s journey is continuing. Then lastly the wave putted put the fire aka R.I.P. Tris.
I think the water symbolizes clarity. All secrets are revealed during Allegiant, so everything becomes transparent. It could also symbolize resolution. The cover of Divergent is flames, and now there is water to put out the flames and bring everything to an end.
